From summer kittens to autumn creativity, music, animals, spiritual growth, and Divine guidance on the LightofLion path.
Summer is slowly becoming autumn.
When I look back at these months, I see kittens growing, animals teaching, songs being born, new creative tools entering my life, and my own direction becoming clearer.
I have watched kittens from five litters grow from birth until around fourteen weeks old, when most of them have moved into their new loving homes.
And I have watched two kittens from 1st and 4th litters who stayed with us, Jättis and Lila, continue their journey toward adulthood.
I have also lived with Usva from the time she was a fourteen-week-old kitten to becoming a mother who has now given birth to five litters.
Watching kittens play is wonderfully entertaining.
They run, wrestle, stalk, jump, hide, chase, climb, and invent endless games with one another.
But beneath all that play is learning.
They are developing skills and abilities connected with being cats.
Even domestic cats still carry those instincts within them.
Our cats have a wide territory around our farmhouse, and I have been able to watch this development closely.
Usva has explored it.
Jättis knows it.
And during this summer I have watched Lila gradually widen her own area from the yard toward the woods, sometimes alone and sometimes together with Usva or Jättis.
The kittens remind me that learning does not always have to look serious.
Sometimes learning looks like play.
This summer I have been sharing everyday life with four kittens:
Lilja, Routa, Myrsky, and Tuisku.
They have become The 4 Heroes of the Fable Woods Valley.
Living with them has brought movement, laughter, observation, love, and many small teachings into daily life.
But while they have been growing, another part of my life has also been growing.
My creative work.
During these months I tested several AI music platforms and explored how they could become part of my creative process.
One result was an album called The Stories from The Fable Woods, created in connection with the first book in my Fable Woods series:
The 7 Heroes of the Fable Woods.
I also created another album:
Songs from Shiva’s Path
This music supports my online course Balance Your Life with Shiva & Sacred Mantras.
Several individual songs were also born from experiences, animals, spiritual teachings, and moments from everyday life.
The Paws of Mine is a warm spiritual folk song about walking through life with love, learning, animals, nature, and Divine guidance.
Usva, Jättis, Lila, the kittens, Luna, Carinho, Veera, and Via all become part of the path.
They are companions, but they are also teachers.
Luna Walks Beside Me grew from my relationship with Luna, our German Shepherd.
She walks with me through our fields and lives together with our cats and horses.
Through her loyalty, joy, presence, and quiet wisdom she reminds me that spiritual teaching can enter everyday life in many forms.
Sometimes the Divine does not need a lecture.
Sometimes the teaching simply walks beside you.
Lila and the Hare came from a mysterious summer evening.
I saw Lila carrying a small hare across the fields.
What followed became an experience involving nature, instinct, care, life, and death.
I never learned the complete truth of what happened.
Eventually I understood that I did not need to.
Only Lila knows.
Nature does not always explain itself to us.
The Voices from the Past is about becoming aware of old echoes within ourselves without allowing them to define our present life.
Fire, water, air, and earth became symbols of transformation.
Fire transforms.
Water cleanses.
Air releases.
Earth grounds and helps something new grow.
Myrsky, Tuisku, Routa, Lilja, Usva, Lila, and Jättis are also present in the song as teachers and companions.
As autumn approaches, The 9 Nights of Goddesses looks toward Autumn Navaratri.
It is a joyful spiritual folk celebration of the Divine Feminine through mantra, music, meditation, singing, prayer, and dance.
The song honors Lakshmi, Saraswati, Durga, Kali, Angali, Varahi, and Parvati and the different qualities they bring into my spiritual path.
These songs have been published through LightofLion on
SoundCloud: https://on.soundcloud.com/OQpkucyzL4DjOkR51Z and Bandcamp: https://lightoflion.bandcamp.com/music
and are planned for release through major music platforms during 2026.
Part of this summer has also been experimentation.
After testing different tools, I found two that I expect to continue using as part of my creative work.
For music creation, I am mainly using ElevenMusic:
https://elevenmusic.io/join/6TIWL8HY
I have created a professional singing voice based on my own voice, allowing me to transform lyrics and creative visions into songs in new ways.
For spoken audio I use ElevenLabs:
https://try.elevenlabs.io/5ifj572wkt3o
I have cloned my spoken voice there, and I see it becoming especially useful for audiobooks as well as occasionally for podcasts and other spoken teachings.

For me, these technologies are tools rather than the source of the teaching.
The experience comes first.
Then perhaps words appear.
Those words may become a meditation.
Or a podcast.
Or a blog.
Or an online course.
Or a book.
Or a song.
The tools simply allow the same inner seed to grow into different flowers.
Something deeper has also been happening during this period.
I have become increasingly aware of the direction in which I want to lead my life.
And at the same time, I have become clearer about the nature of the energy I do not want influencing that life.
Spiritual development also involves choice.
What do we allow into our lives?
What receives our attention?
What receives our energy?
What are we helping to grow?
And what are we ready to leave behind?
Watching kittens gives me an interesting reflection of this.
They explore.
They play.
They test boundaries.
They sometimes retreat.
And then they try again.
Little by little, their world becomes larger.
Perhaps ours does too.
Lilja, Routa, Myrsky, and Tuisku are now around two and a half months old.
Our life together continues until the moment comes for them to move into their new homes.
In the Light in which I live, I feel those homes already exist.
Somewhere there are people whose lives will become connected with these kittens.
They will receive love there.
And they will also teach.
Animals have their own way of teaching us.
Not necessarily through words.
Through presence.
Through joy.
Through challenges.
Through silence.
Through love.
And here our life continues with Usva, Jättis, and Lila.
With Luna.
With Carinho, Veera, and Via.
With my two lovely human companions.
With nature.
With creativity.
And with the Divine guidance that continues to shape my path.
Summer turns into autumn.
The kittens keep growing.
New songs are born.
Books and courses continue taking shape.
And the journey continues.
Chant & Meditate & Pray & Connect & Ask.
And stay open to where the next teaching comes from.
It may even arrive on four tiny paws. 🐾
